Description
Assume the role of an archaeologist facing an ancient stone stele weathered by time. The dartboard represents the stele’s cross-section, etched with layers of ancient symbols and emblems. You must use your darts to precisely strike specific “rubbing points”—spots worn faint by the ages. Each successful hit causes the corresponding symbol to emerge from the dust and glow, eventually revealing a complete inscription. The game evokes a profound sense of antiquity; dart impacts trigger particle effects of crumbling stone and produce a deep, resonant thud. You are not merely throwing darts; you are gradually awakening history from its slumber.
Gameplay and Skill Set:
The system initially displays the full outline of an inscription before fading it out, leaving only faint, sporadic fluorescent cues. You must rely on memory and spatial awareness to strike all rubbing points in the correct sequence. The “Toner Wipe” skill briefly reveals the outlines of all hidden symbols for two seconds; “Deep Deciphering” causes adjacent hidden symbols within a certain radius to appear automatically after each successful hit; and the “Transcription Art” skill allows you to automatically complete the next rubbing point without manual input following a perfect hit, helping you bypass particularly tricky or awkwardly positioned targets.
Level Overview (Levels 2000–4000):
Early levels feature few rubbing points (3–5), widely spaced and clearly outlined. Beyond Level 2500, the number of points surges to over a dozen, with some symbols bearing striking resemblances that require careful distinction of subtle details. From Level 3000 onwards, “Crack Traps” appear on the stele’s surface; darts landing in these cracks get stuck, resulting in a penalty to your level completion rating. Past Level 3600, rubbing points appear and vanish in complex temporal sequences; you must strike them before they disappear, creating a dynamic “memory-to-action” loop. In levels 3800 through 4000, you must sequentially create rubbings of inscription fragments from three different stone steles and piece them together in the correct order to form a complete narrative inscription—a challenge that tests your short-term memory and sequencing skills.
